Imperial Car Supermarkets - Worst case of mis-selling I have ever encountered
Warranty sold through imperial cars is worthless - do not be conned into buying it
Imperial car supermarkets firstly sold me a car for which a key component died after less than 7 weeks of ownership. I really doubt whether this was RAC inspected as sold.
The car is a dud and I should be receiving a full refund or at the very least a replacement.
Imperial Car Supermarkets salesman completely mis-sold me their โGoldโ level warranty. This is not worth the paper it is written on. They will do anything to get out of paying to the point that the repair process (still ongoing) has so far taken a month, with no courtesy car offered. The car mechanic has told me the repair can easily be made but the warranty company keeps insisting on sending parts away and finding the cheapest option.
They do not care about the inconvenience and extra cost incurred by NOT having the car endured by the customer. Also be aware that the warranty only covers an hourly rate of ยฃ40 per hour for the mechanic. Shopping around the cheapest you can get is ยฃ80 per hour.
The customer is out of pocket anyway. None of these terms of the warranty were explained at time of sale.
Deal with Imperial Car Supermarkets at your peril - in my case it is turning into a very costly and unpleasant experience.
